The City of San José is recruiting for a Chief of Police and is interested in receiving community input regarding the ideal qualities that the City Manager should consider in evaluating candidates for this position. Community input meetings have been scheduled at the following locations from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

City Refunding Surplus Special Assessment District Funds to Current and Former Property Owners
The City of San José is refunding approximately $6.9 million in surplus funds from 35 expired special assessment districts in the City. If you or a related entity owned or had an interest in real property in the City anytime between 1974 and 2005, you are strongly encouraged to review the additional information provided below in order to determine whether you are eligible for a refund. City of San José Environmental Services Department invites you to join energy policy makers, energy utility leaders, and community leaders in celebrating award winners of the Community Energy Champions Grant Program, sponsored by the City of San José and PG&E. You’ll learn how local innovative champions delivered energy efficiency programs to targeted communities across Santa Clara County, making strides to decrease our energy footprint while saving costs.
